APLORI & Egyptian Vulture New LIFE project - Catch up

APLORI is one of several institutions and organisations from 14 countries spanning the Balkans, Middle East and Africa who are working to save an endangered species, the Egyptian Vulture!

With funding support from the EU's LIFE Programme and co-financing from AG Leventis Foundation, Green Fund and the MAVA Foundation, all partners are working together under the project "Urgent Actions to Strengthen the Balkan Population of the Egyptian Vulture and Secure Its Flyway” (LIFE16 NAT/BG/000874), abbreviated to Egyptian Vulture - New LIFE Project. The project seeks to protect the Egyptian Vulture and to secure its flyway. Despite the challenges that came with the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the partnership remains committed to this cause. Learn more about some of the most interesting activities for the conservation of the Egyptian vulture from partners under this project for the period April 2020 – December 2020 in this newsletter:
